Overview
Wood Financial Group is a boutique-style financial planning firm that also provides tax savings strategies and tax preparation services to clients. We are seeking a seasonal, full time employee to fill our Tax Administrator/First Impressions Manager position. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, and work through May 2023. If the candidate does an extraordinary job in this seasonal role, they may be offered a permanent position in another area of the firm. We are headquartered in Hendersonville, TN, however, this position will be at our Mt. Juliet Office.
This opportunity is perfect for candidates who are extremely driven by exceeding client expectations with each and every interaction, quick to learn new things, computer savvy, have a high degree of professionalism and energy, excellent organizational skills and willing to accept direction.
The tax administration piece of this role involves:
· Managing tax drop-off appointments, ensuring all forms and questions are present and complete
· Preparing completed return (making copies, organizing the files, etc.)
· Handle tax pick-up appointments when returns are completed ensuring payments are made and applied
First Impressions Manager piece of this role involves:
· Answering multiple phone lines
· Greeting clients and providing a comfortable environment during their visit, i.e., offering and serving refreshments along with pleasant conversation.
· Confirming appointments
· Keeping office organized at all times
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with web-based programs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Extremely organized with excellent follow through skills
- Possess a positive, professional and friendly disposition
- Dependability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work well as a team, sometimes under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work additional hours during peak season as needed
Work Location: 545 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Suite 1202, Mt. Juliet, TN
Job Type: Temporary (Now – May 2023), 40+ hours a week.
Schedule: 40+ hours a week, 7:50AM to 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday.
Overtime: Required/expected, when necessary, to ensure all preparation is complete for next day appointments.
Hourly rate: $19.00-$20.00
Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
