Camp Zanika is a youth summer camp that provides children, grades 1-12, an opportunity to live beneath the trees, learn under the stars and experience the wonder of the great outdoors. On the shores of beautiful Lake Wenatchee, Camp Zanika is the ideal location for kids to learn new skills, have fun, and make friends & memories that will last a lifetime.

Pay is $450 per week, includes meals and housing. FLSA Section 13(a)(3)
Reporting to the Assistant Camp Director of Programing the Outdoor Education Program staff is responsible for the general program and living activities of six to eight youth in their assigned cabin group.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate.
- 18 years old and older preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid, Wilderness First Aid is preferred.
- Desire and ability to work with children.
- Experience in camping activities.
- Good character, integrity, adaptability and enthusiasm.
- A good example for youth in appearance, attitudes, and moral and ethical behavior.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the supervision of campers in the activity assigned to them.
- Interprets safety and health regulations to their group. Is on the alert for any sign of illness or fatigue, accidents and reports immediately to the Nurse or Medic.
- Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
- Works with the program Directors and other staff in improving a specific part of the cabin program planning.
- Observes and shares with campers: quiet hour, camp kapers, camp meals, camp flag, All camp and other camp activities.
- Assumes responsibility for care of facilities, equipment and supplies. Keeps cabin clean and neat.
