Responsibilities

• Manage and craft product & consumer surveys that capture marketplace insights that can be turned into meaningful insights for retail and Samsung mobile
• Develop & collect actionable insights across Consumers Experience Journey, to improve and influence consumer experience, which drives Retail's strategic initiatives for Samsung mobile
• Drive customer and competitor research to help inform go-to-market strategy decisions
• Transform findings into measurable recommendations, and work closely with cross functional teams to execute on the recommendations
• Lead change by working closely with cross-functional partners across sales, operations, finance, and analytics
• Help business leaders manage the business and drive performance by synthesizing trends into actionable insights and recommendations, and be able to tell the story behind the numbers
• Formulate and present critical strategy recommendations to the executive team
• Identify and size growth opportunities to advise go-to-market prioritization

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, Consumer Insights, Marketing analytics, and/or a top-tier tech company in strategy, analytics, or innovation
• A Bachelor's in Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or similar field of study (Master's Degree preferred in similar field of study)
• An understanding of mobile or retail sales industry
• Comfort with ambiguity and operating independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple retail vendors that support market research, sales programs, and other retail initiatives with limited support
• Ability to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy
• Analytical rigor, ability to support decisions with data, and ability to draw insights from disparate information sources
• A self-starter mentality, with the ability to drive work from conceptualization, to analysis, to recommendation and, at times, to implementation
• Strong executive presence, polished communication skills, and ability to influence diverse stakeholder
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in crafting customer research via approved vendors & directly managing vendors
• Develop, monitor and report on critical success metrics (KPIs)

Skills

• Familiarity with statistical modeling, A/B testing, cluster analysis, and sample size calculations and tests of significance
• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects. Read and interpret detailed and complex customer requirements
• Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations
• Team player & Self-starter - you go out of your way to help teammates
