Summary/Objective

Stratford Homes has been the leader in customizable modular homes since 1973. We are seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to help support our cleaning and sanitizing needs. This role will report to the Director of Manufacturing.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property including model homes.
• Uses a cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms.
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, and furniture.
• Stocks paper products, and other miscellaneous.
• Orders new cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collects and takes out trash and recycling.
• Notifies supervisor if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job on the plant floor, the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, flying debris, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Employees will be required to wear and use appropriate personal protection equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs, dust masks and gloves, etc.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee has prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing and bending. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a part–time position, 20 hours per week.
• Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
