Our client is a wholesale landscape nursery based out of Denver, CO is looking to add a motivated and experienced General Manager to their growing team.

General Manager will be overseeing a wholesale nursery facility, managing employees, operations, and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve day-to-day operations of the facility
• Recruiting, Hiring, Firing, Performance Management, Training, etc
• Managing employees by creating work schedules, setting priorities, and ensuring that projects are completed on time
• Manage budget, P&L, operations of the nursery to ensure that it runs efficiently and profitably
• Preparing budgets and managing financial records related to the operation of the nursery
• Overseeing staff training to ensure that employees are knowledgeable about their jobs
• Controlling the inventory of plants and supplies to ensure that there is enough stock to meet demand
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of plants and supplies
• Responsible for Customer Service, Sales, Gross Margin, and Expenses of the nursery

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR (driving record)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Horticulture, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of the wholesale nursery and landscape supply or construction industry
• Ability to work well with others and be a good leader/ manager
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Salary: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
