Job description
Pay Range:
- Starting rate of $8.25 per hour
- Can earn up to $9.25 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check all bags that enter the park and enforce all policies and procedures as needed
- Ensure all guests who enter have valid admission tickets or season passes
- Keep accurate records of current guest attendance in the park at a given time
- Friendly approach to customer service by greeting each guest that enters and exits the park
- Enforce water park policies in a friendly and polite manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
- Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with all questions regarding Hawaiian Waters Waterpark including facility layout and amenities
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- May be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain
