JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client of The Agency Worx is seeking a SEO/SEM Specialist to join their team. The SEO/SEM Specialist’s role is to audit, report, manage, and execute SEO/SEM optimization efforts for all internal sites. The specialist will work within the marketing team and collaborate with Product Management in order to promote the brand's products across all major channels. Utilizing industry knowledge, trends, as well as 3rd party services and tools to drive successful campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
• Develop scalable, high-quality link building strategies.
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
• Drive traffic and conversions on organic marketing channels.
• Develop strategies to grow organic traffic through referral partnerships.
• Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget.
• Work with internal marketing partners and Product Management to optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links and SEO strategies.
• Develop and implement link building strategy.
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Experience:

• 2+ years of related SEO/SEM management experience.
• Knowledge of Magento, Google Analytics, SEO tools (Brightedge), and Microsoft Office products required

Physical Requirements:

• Solid understanding of digital marketing applications and data analysis.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and team members in a positive manner.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to research, identify and implement new strategies.
• Passion for learning new skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in: SEO, SEM (Google, Yahoo and Bing) and Conversion Rate Optimization.
• Demonstrated working knowledge/understanding in: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
• General knowledge in: HTML and CSS. JavaScript a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
