Position Details

• Provides cognitive support and assists tenants with home management tasks, activities of daily living, mobility, medication administration, and other delegated nursing functions, as assigned, according to the plan of care.
• Works under the direction and supervision of the RN to assist the tenant in meeting and/or maintaining their highest practicable physical and mental functioning.
• Position is trained to work in Northwinds Assisted Living, Catered Living (congregate setting), and Home Health programs.

What You Offer

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of competency evaluation.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and act in a positive, professional manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Aptitude to learn how to operate the assigned patient care equipment safely and effectively.
• Must possess a home/cell phone so assignment changes and updates can be communicated.
• Must be able to pass background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Work Schedule

• Full-time Overnights or Casual Positions Available.
