Scope:

Information Center

The information center is a centralized department managing all research subscriptions and performing research requests supporting all employees within the firm on a global level. Librarians perform and deliver custom research assignment results to internal clients, provide training on information services as needed, evaluate new resources and advise internal business units on resource options as appropriate.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform customized, in-depth information research on a variety of complex subjects to support the information needs of the financial, corporate and other staff of the firm.
  • Format, package and deliver results of research projects to clients in an appropriate format.
  • Research and evaluate new and renewing information services and sources.
  • Provide training on information sources as needed for financial staff.
  • Remote position with occasional required travel to an office.
Basic Qualifications:
  • MLS or MLIS degree from an accredited graduate program
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in coordination with other team members
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Business background and familiarity with financial terms and concepts
  • Strong proficiency with specialized market data resources including, but not limited to Factiva, LexisNexis, Eikon, Capital IQ/Factset
  • COVID vaccination required, subject to applicable state and federal law
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Pitchbook, LCD, SDC Platinum, LoanConnector, S&P Ratings Direct, S&P Capital IQ and others preferred
