  • This is a remote position
The Product Data Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining product data for Backcountry.com’s Merchandise Department and Purchasing Operations. Additionally, the role will function as a master data subject matter expert for cross-functional projects, as well as assist in data-related systems and reporting enhancements.

About the Job

  • Generate SKUs and enter product data for purchase orders
  • Manage the acquisition, manipulation and uploading of vendor product data. Ability to adhere to uniform style guidelines
  • Manage and resolve product data issues through efficient use of trouble-tickets
  • Participate in the creation and training of best practices and process improvement exercises
  • Maintaining product data integrity between Backcountry’s sites and business systems
  • Assignment to special projects
About You
  • An analytical mind, with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving departmental goals
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Diligence and patience; ability to edit your own work
  • Strong communication and organization Skills
  • Ability to execute with limited supervision
  • Working knowledge of Backcountry business systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Excel Macros is a plus
  • Outdoor/Sporting Goods industry experience is a plus
