Job description

Jones-Hamilton Co. an employee-owned manufacturer and distributor of chemical products used in animal agriculture, food processing and the consumer and industrial products is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for second shift (1:00 p.m.to 9:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday) for the Walbridge, Ohio facility. Training for two to three months required on first shift (7 am to 3:30 p.m.)

Responsibilities for the Packaging Machine Operator include

• Filling totes and polybags
• Operating a semi-automated machine packaging line
• Transporting materials to/from the warehouse via forklift truck
• The ability to troubleshoot and make minimal repairs to packaging equipment

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to read and follow instructions on documents.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb. bags.
• Must be able to bend and squat.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to drive and pass the forklift driver certification test.

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
