MIG Welder
Hamilton-Ryker is searching for a reliable MIG welder for our client to join their team in the Leitchfield, KY area.
Hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM
Mon-Friday
Payrate: $16
Position: Temp to Hire
What You Will Do:
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications
- Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage
- Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools
- Operating cranes and other machinery to transport materials to welding worksites
- Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required
- Reporting any issues to the line manager or supervisor.
What We Need From You:
- High school diploma or similar
- Prior experience is required
- Familiarity with the most commonly used MIG welding tools, techniques, and materials
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures
- Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity
- Must take a measurement test and read well
