Smith personnel is now hiring for a Metallurgical Technician, this job is lcoated in the South Fort Worth area. Temp to hire, pay is based on the experience!
Minimum Requirements: Interpret and operate Tensile testing and all Metallurgical Equipment.
General Duties:
- Tensile Test from test bars or actual forgings to verify mechanical properties
- Metallugical evaluations
- Heat treat of test sample
- Preparing samples for Verification of etch line
- Processing of all outside testing purchase orders
Specific Duties:
- Cetify metallurgical intergrity of parts prior to shipment
- Perform related task as directed by Supervisor
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
