Job Objective:

Primary job responsibilities will be to provide for project engineering support for new projects relating to the food processing facilities.

You must be a permanent US resident and be able to work in Kansas City on a daily basis.

Major Job Functions:

1. Create and maintain AutoCAD layouts.

2. Create mechanical specifications for machinery in project.

3. Create Quotations based on AutoCAD Layouts from Baader Product Line

4. Work with Sales and Engineering to produce realistic solutions for customers

5. Cooperate with Baader Offices in Denmark, Holland, and Germany to complete projects

6. Procure quotations from sub–contractors.

7. Travel (up to 50%) to food processing facilities for on-site project engineering support for pre-sales and post-sales.

8. Post-sales project management.

9. All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

· Accredited bachelor’s degree (4 year program) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other Technical degree

Years of Experience:

Entry Level – No Experience Necessary

Minimum Skills Required (language, math, reasoning):

· Proficient use of AutoCAD for 2D layouts

· Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook

· Read and understand equipment manuals, shop drawings and equipment/tool operation instructions.

· Ability to discuss technical issues with coworkers and customers and impart understanding of machine requirements.

· Ability to direct work without creating conflict.

· Ability to troubleshoot and solve moderately difficult problems and present clear alternatives.

· Ability to create simple reports and conduct simple math.

· Ability to travel and will not exceed 50%

Ability to Use:

· Computer (and related software)

· Laser Measure, Tape Measuer, Laser Level, and Scales

· Various power tools such as drills and saws.

Performance Expectations:

• Ability to complete tasks on short notice which could require long days and weekend work
• Ability to show up to work on time every day
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to work more than 40 hours a week if needed
• Subject matter expert on plant layouts and Baader Technical Equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:
