Sideman & Bancroft is a majority women-owned, boutique San Francisco firm with an award-winning intellectual property practice group purpose built to provide end-to-end intellectual property protection for companies in all stages of development. Our intellectual property practice is distinguished from others by a number of unique specialty practice areas such as criminal referrals, online IP enforcement, and global customs enforcement, in addition to providing full-service IP prosecution and registration work and of course substantial civil IP litigation. We represent some of the largest and most recognized brands in the world (as well as smaller and “up and coming” companies), and provide them with the quality of legal representation expected from a large firm, but with the touch and care of a smaller firm.

The firm currently has an opening for an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate/Counsel with 5+ years of IP litigation experience, strong case management experience, and superior legal writing skills. Prior experience with trademark and copyright litigation is preferred. The right candidate is proactive, practical, results-oriented, a strong communicator, and some who takes true ownership over matters and can be given significant responsibility representing large and small clients out of the gate.
