The Insurance Agency Support Specialist is a position that is responsible for working primarily with the Policy Service and Case Management departments. The optimal candidate has some insurance brokerage or agency experience but most importantly this individual must have the following attributes:

• High level-computer skills with strong writing and typing skills. The Majority of our work is done in electronic mediums so not only are strong technical skills required to be successful in this role the ability to effectively communicate in writing is essential.
• Problem-solving skills. This role will regularly work with team members to resolve issues that arise that require strong problem-solving skills. Identifying the correct course to resolve the issue, or understanding how and who to escalate to get direction is a must.
• Communication skills and willingness to actively communicate both within the team and with insurance carriers, advisors and their clients as appropriate.
• Strong time management including high adaptability and flexibility. Though much of the duties are repetitive in nature we need an individual capable of prioritizing tasks to provide support where it is needed the most
• Thoughtful and creative. As a small business with a team that works closely we are looking for an individual who can provide good insight on potential improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
