HOST/ SERVER ASSISTANT

Public at the Brickyard is looking for a Front of House assistant and/or host with a friendly smile and hard-working attitude. Your position is key in making sure that front of house operations run smoothly. Must have dependable transportation and get to work on time. This is a good way to learn the in’s and out’s of working in a restaurant.

Our restaurant is located in Old Town and has won numerous awards for its food and service. We work hard to find the freshest ingredients for our recipes by working with local vendors and farmers. Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment and we do not sacrifice quality when working under pressure.

Position Summary

• Greet customers when they walk in the door
• Hosts use a seating application. Must be good with smartphones and tablets.
• Assist servers with running food
• Help ensure sure drinks are always full
• Wash and stock glassware
• Side work duties include cleaning
• Must be able to deal with a high-pressure work environment
