Responsibilities and Duties Include:

Bookkeeping duties for multiple entities owned and managed by the owner. That includes, but not limited to:

  • Having clear reconciled books with financial statements for all entities on a timely manner
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
  • Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
  • Monitor multiple entities along with personal books.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Ability to work independently, yet always being a team player at every level of the organization. We encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and trust our team to hold themselves to a high standard.
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
  • Proficient computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel/Google Sheets) and knowledge of Google Drive. QuickBooks experience, QB Online experience is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and external organizations/individuals.
  • Preferred bilingual English/Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
