Job Description

We are looking for an AI/ML Software Engineer I to join our team with experience building mobile applications, OCR, and Natural Language Processing. This job duration is expected to be 6 months, with the possibility of a long term extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement OCR, language identification, and translation models in Python or another programming language
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these models into a mobile application
  • Optimize models for mobile performance and accuracy
  • Identify and address technical challenges related to OCR, language identification, and translation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML and mobile development trends and technologies
  • Test and debug software to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Build mobile application for Android based devices using KIVY Python framework

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in AI/ML development
  • Experience with OCR, language identification, and translation technologies
  • Strong programming skills in Python programming language
  • Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or iOS/Android development
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Understand processes by completing assigned training materials and blueprints.
  • U.S Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $82,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
