Job description
Our company is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our supply chain team in the East Hartford, CT area. In this role, you will perform programming the logistic process, fleet routing, hire freight and enable the optimization of processes.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Schedules all incoming and outgoing trucks
- Checks inventory availability
- Relieves inventories and supplies using the system
- Load and Unloado the trucks
- Maintains receipt log for incoming product
- Directs the Warehouse Personnel for all truck and shipping needs.
- Work closely with Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Have previous experience as a logistics assistant and routing of deliveries in the region.
- Completion of high school.
- Must reside on the outskirts of East Hartford, CT or nearby.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
