We are looking for strong Veterinary Technician candidates to join our growing practice. Our employees need to be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to challenges as they present themselves. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills, excellent client service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, reliable, able to prioritize and multi-task, take initiative/self-motivated, communicate effectively, use common sense, problem solve, be a team player, and have great attention to detail. This position does include working Saturdays.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Triage of incoming patients.
- Collection and analysis of lab samples.
- Diagnostic imaging.
- Management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability.
- Assisting doctors during surgeries and dental procedures.
- Effective and professional communication of treatment plans with clients.
- Utilization of various computer software/applications/programs.
