CohnReznick’s Administration department has an exciting opportunity on our Document Production Services team. We are looking for a dynamic Temporary Tax Processor to support our offices virtually. This assignment will be from January 9, 2023- April 19, 2023.
This is a temporary (seasonal) position, which will start on December 14, 2020 and end on or about April 16, 2021. Various shifts available from 9am – 5:30pm
Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime (weekday evenings and Saturdays).
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Electronically processing and assembling completed tax returns and related reports, delivering completed packages and updating the tracking system.
- Performing a self-review for completeness and accuracy of the instruction/information contained in the virtual folder.
- Coordinating the delivery of assembled tax returns for shipment to client in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the set-up of new client matters in the system.
- Assisting with tax software and document management maintenance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience;
- Ability to work overtime (evenings and Saturdays) as needed with or without advanced notice;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and turn around projects quickly;
- Excellent administrative and computer skills with ability to print, collate and assemble documents, electronically and physically;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe;
- Prior experience with tax returns is a plus;
- Dependable, reliable, and a strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review;
- May require some standing for periods of time;
- Can do attitude and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadline; and
- Strong organizational and customer service skills; effective communication and interpersonal skills
