Zynex Monitoring Solutions is seeking a Technical Researcher to support the work involved in the development of the next generation of noninvasive patient monitoring devices that will change standards of care, improve patient outcomes, and save lives. This work includes supporting management and engineers in their work, developing, executing, and documenting laboratory studies, and managing internal databases, along with many other diverse tasks required to keep products and technologies moving toward market launch.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or science related area.
• Work requires math skills including basic geometry and algebra, the ability to understand "abstract" principles behind math and physics.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel (including plotting functions), PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Eligible candidates must have current Hepatitis B and tetanus vaccinations.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in biology or chemistry laboratory setting.
• Training in physiology first aid, CPR, and/or phlebotomy.
• Experience in the medical device industry or other industry operating under a Quality Management System.
• Experience with Microsoft Access database use and maintenance.
• Operation of lab equipment including medical analyzers.
• Knowledge of the principles of photoplethysmography and its application to pulse oximetry.
• Ability to work on location in Boulder County

Relevant Experience:

• Safe handling of biohazard materials including human and/or animal blood. Safe and efficient handling of Wet Lab materials and equipment including syringes, laboratory analyzers, glass wear, pressurized gasses, pumps, etc.
• Basic knowledge of digital and analog system componentry and soldering techniques.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as necessary.
