Job description

We are a full-service CPA and valuation firm located in the DC region, currently seeking an experienced accountant for a remote or in-person full time position.

About the position:

• Prepare complex tax returns for Individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, Estates and Trusts
• Research and provide tax planning and consulting for individuals and businesses
• Respond to IRS / state tax authority notices; provide client representation for audit/examination proceedings
• Provide bookkeeping and payroll assistance for business clients as needed

About you:

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or CPA candidate currently sitting for the exams
• 2+ years experience in public accounting (tax preparation)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with UltraTax and CS Professional suite preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
