Summary: The Senior Principal Client Service Engineer will be providing engineering support to internal and external technical staff. As the Senior Principal Client Service Engineer, you will provide expert product knowledge to support product needs, analyze testing results, and provide training on power equipment. The Senior Principal Client Service Engineer will take part in R&D efforts as it related to application and product development
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert product knowledge technical support on company products
- Creates detailed analysis of electrical test results
- Support onsite and virtual training needs for internal and external clients
- Delivers consultations on power mechanisms, along with recommendations for testing, maintenance, or suitability for service
- Participate in technical conferences and publish technical articles
- Participate in continuing education as it relates to role through lectures, seminars, or classes
- Support organizational needs internationally
- Becomes subject matter expert on company products, and provides mentorship to others
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Possess strong electrical theory background and transformers, circuit breaker functionality
- Prior experience running diagnostic testing for high-voltage equipment
- Strong communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation
- Ability to travel up to 30%, internationally and domestically
