As the Senior Analyst, Strategic Partnerships - Pharma on our CVS Media Exchange (CMX) business, you’ll help chart the course for expansion of the fast-growing retail media arm at the 4th largest company in the US. CMX is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for customers, advertisers and the CVS business. Our full-funnel ad solutions harness the power of CVS in-store and online data, using extensive reach and robust customer/patient understanding to provide increased efficacy for our clients. CVS Media Exchange is seeking an experienced Sr. Analyst to help support our strategic pharma partnerships initiative, owning opportunity sizing, pharma package development and gaining legal approvals.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative thinker with the demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for partners and CVS. The candidate will have experience working within a matrix organization as well as leading, coaching and influencing people. Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills, pharma data/legal acumen, a collaborative and innovative spirit, and be extremely comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

In addition, we are looking for high -caliber talent that has a background in supporting complex partnerships in the heavily regulated pharma space at scale. This individual will be the point person for opportunity sizing, gaining legal review/approvals, and packaging the pharma offering for external deployment.
What you'll do...
  • Own revenue forecasting and opportunity sizing for business cases that drive against our monetization strategy with pharma clients & agencies through maturation of our CMX offering
  • Partner with pharma trade, legal, analytics, and marketing teams to create lucrative large pharma packages/partnerships that include but span beyond digital media and represent true win-win scenarios
  • Proactively identify strategic enhancements to our product, targeting, measurement and overall offering that unlock significant value for pharma advertisers. Navigate legal approvals and setup of executional pathways to bring to market with speed and efficiency.
  • Develop client pitch material and positioning for all stages of the negotiation. Lead the execution strategy that operationalizes the outline pharma media package.
  • Support topline relationships with pharma agencies, establishing holding company MSAs in partnership with legal that enable seamless transaction with CMX.
  • Own progress reporting on pharma deals and the expansion of the pharma offering roadmap to bring CVS cross-functional leadership along on the journey.
  • Explore net new applications of existing CMX offerings for pharma clients, working with legal and campaign management teams

PLEASE NOTE: This role is work at home flexible. It can be based remotely in the U.S. or near one of our Corporate Hubs. If you are commutable to one of the following Corporate Hubs, you must work in the office 2 or more days a week: Wellesley, MA, Woonsocket, RI, Hartford, CT, Buffalo Grove, IL, Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, Irving, TX, or New York, NY.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 100,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant business experience across business development, product and partnerships in the pharma advertising space
  • 1+ years of experience supporting the development of pharma partnerships / solutions including business case sizing, financial modeling and operationalizing execution elements
  • 1+ years of experience navigating the legal landscape around pharma advertising, pharma data and media T&Cs
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including regular trips to Woonsocket, RI and New York, NY offices

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills that can effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base
  • Self-motivated, high-capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to adapt easily and thrive in a startup environment.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Marketing / Advertising
  • Experience in traditional consulting, retail media, and/or brand advertising in a large pharma company

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
