QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

This is a direct hire opportunity

$60-$63k

Day Shift

A leader in the fragrance manufacturing industry, has an immediate opportunity available for a Quality Control Technician.

The primary function of the Quality Control Technician is to:

• Support the day-to-day activities of the department
• Perform all analytical
• Maintain Lab Management system
• Record and report analytical results
• Investigates non-conformances
• Compiles and analyzes test information to determine root causes and corrective actions
• Inspection of final product prior to shipment
• Maintain laboratory and laboratory equipment
• Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
• Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows
• Competency using computer with knowledge and experience using word processing, Excel spreadsheets
• Experience using Lab equipment (Densitometer, Refractometer, Colorimeter, Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometry, Polarimeter)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

Requirements include:

• College Degree - Preferred
• Chemistry, Biology etc.
• 2 Years Laboratory experience
