Nexans High Voltage USA is hiring!! Our brand new state of the art facility in Charleston, SC is searching for hard working, dedicated and driven to succeed employees to join our producction team. Nexans is the first high voltage cable manufacturer in the USA! We are leading the way in renewable energy while helping our customers to bring power from offshore wind farms to land!
The Production Operator will be trained to be proficient at operating one or more of the following pieces of machinery and process lines in a safe manner necessary to manufacture a quality product within a high voltage cable manufacturing environment.
- Extruder line
- Drawing
- Stranding
- Assembly
- Screening
- Jointing
- Jacketing
- Rewind line
- Testing

REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma, technical secondary education preferred
- Manufacturing experience highly desired
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend (in English) plant directives for required document control, equipment operation, and follow direction of supervisor/peer instructions.
- Perform simple mathematics, to comprehend and interpret process sheets and recipes, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts
- Must understand and comply with all policies and procedures of Nexans USA Inc including attendance, breaks, conduct, and so forth.
- Successful completiuon of a pre-employment physical and drug test
