We seek a dedicated, organized Payroll Entry Specialist to join our growing organization. In this position, you will quickly and accurately transfer payroll data from a variety of sources, including written and recorded reports into our web-based platform. You must be comfortable working independently, under deadlines with large amounts of numerical and written data. This is a part-time opportunity within SmartPay.
This is what you can expect:
- Enter payroll data in appropriate fields; web-based platform, Excel templates, and files
- Transfer data from written records (spreadsheets, pdf’s) and paper formats via email, on-line payroll systems, fax
- Handle numerical data accurately and efficiently
- Comply with information security policies and procedures for handling sensitive information
- Summarize and compile data for standardized reports
- View and verify confidential or private customer/client information.
- Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation
- Handle and respond to a large volume of email/client correspondence
Interested? If you have these qualifications, then we need to hear from you:
- High school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration or related field
- Two years previous experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to type and enter data quickly and accurately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with 10-key
- Payroll experience desirable
- Able to flex work hours and adjust with increasing work volume
