Location: Puyallup, WA

Shift: 1st, M-F, 6:30am-3pm

Pay: $24/hr.

Benefits: YES! Full benefits after 90 days.

What to expect:

The primary role of a Moulder Operator is to efficiently and safely operate the Profile Moulder. This hands-on role is expected to take ownership of the quality and quantity of product ran during his/her shift. This role will perform all set-ups and is expected to be a self-starter. This role is expected to be part of a cross-functional team that requires minimal direct supervision. This role will also have other tasks assigned based upon the current work load and the needs of the company and customer.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to legally work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, alternate shifts, and weekends as/if needed on short notice.
  • Have ability to use a personal computer to perform inquires and to update information.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of arithmetic and know how to apply.
  • Must be able and willing to train new hires
  • Must be able and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.
  • Must show leadership skills and be comfortable in this role.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to determine priorities
  • Must have basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to use measuring equipment (i.e.: tape measures, calipers).
  • Must be able to accurately and legibly complete various forms of paperwork.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, policies, and procedures on how to set-up equipment, inspect product, etc.
  • Grinds and sharpens moulder knives to required specifications.
  • Maintains a clean the work area and department.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to stand, walk, twist, 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools (i.e.: wrenches, torque wrench, screw drivers, hammers, etc.…).
  • Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly to co-workers in English.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE.
  • Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment (noise, dust, moving equipment/tooling).
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move 20-30 pound items over an 8 hour period.
