D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Manager. The right candidate will coordinate advertising for/with various media channels. Operate and maintain the marketing and public relations for the company. Plan and prepare for model openings, then maintain models thereafter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage and supervise the Marketing Department staff, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coordinate advertising with our corporate headquarters for current communities
  • Direct the design of flyers, direct mail pieces, and other marketing collateral in coordination with Corporate guidelines
  • Coordinate the compilation and completion of brochures, signage, and sales offices
  • Manage the maintenance of model homes - advertising, signage, brochures, public relations, invoices
  • Oversee the marketing of all active and upcoming communities and approve marketing materials such as ad campaigns, social media marketing, press releases, website content, e-blast campaigns, brand compliance, direct mail campaigns, etc.
  • Hire and manage marketing related vendors for model home openings
  • Identify and prioritize marketing objectives, including managing effective marketing events
  • Manage online branding and communication efforts through the company’s website, mobile, and email marketing campaigns
  • Support a wide-range of digital and traditional marketing needs for the division including strategy, planning, targeting, implementation, reporting and/or optimizing
  • Collaborate with operations team on the coordination of special events
  • Active participation in monthly sales meetings, including presenting marketing campaigns to the sales team
  • Review performance of the website and track campaign reporting to manage revenue, costs, and ROI.
  • Manage reports and dashboards to provide detailed tracking of marketing programs across various channels as well as measuring, monitoring and optimizing the funnel from inquiry to closed opportunity
  • Work closely with model merchandisers, landscape architects, on-site superintendents, and other pertinent personnel
  • Communicate with various departments to improve products and company image
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly manages two or more employees in the Sales & Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • Four to six years of digital marketing experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of SEM including meta tags, Panda and Penguin optimization algorithms, and PPC management
  • Knowledge of MLS and realtor sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com
  • Experience with Google Analytics, social media sites, and photography and video editing software
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
