This position is responsible for managing, supervising and conducting the maintenance function of the park’s grounds, equipment and utility systems. This position will directly supervise both full-time and seasonal employees. Job duties include operating a waste water treatment plant, conducting job performance evaluations, coordinating work assignments, and developing an overall park maintenance plan and preventative maintenance program for buildings, grounds and equipment. Applicant will perform skilled and non-skilled maintenance duties, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, grounds maintenance, and equipment repairs. This position also maintains equipment history records, supply inventories and other assigned record keeping. Computer skills using Microsoft Office are preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to traverse rough terrain, ability to lift fifty pounds and be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. Driving records will be checked.

Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma plus two years of experience in general maintenance operations. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
