Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and manage multiple priorities on deadlinesThis position starts at $20 with the potential to increase over time based on expanded job responsibilities and established experience.ResponsibilitiesHelp clients to identify housing needs and wants, assist with the housing application process, monitor basic lease compliance, and provide support as the need arises to prevent eviction.
Develop relationships with housing providers including public housing agencies, and private owners/managers. This position will also facilitate landlord-tenant communication as needed.
Support clients to independently care for their own health, safety, and well-being.
Conduct weekly client meetings until stable housing is secured and then complete home visits at least monthly to assess housing stability and further progress toward the housing stability plan.
Provide education, links and referrals to mainstream benefits, community resources and support services including treatment and skills training for clients.
RequirementsAcceptable Criminal History Report
Reliable and punctual

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality relative to work performed
Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, management, partner agencies and the community to maximize affiliate strategic goals and plans.
Ability to work with low-income populations with respect and compassion.
Effective communication skills and a professional attitude
Ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds.
