The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey's Mobile Academy is hosting a massive in-person hiring fair on April 1st, 2023 from 9:00am-2:00 PM in Jersey City, NJ at Saint Peter's University with over 40+ companies including Audible, Amazon, Modivcare, Carefinders, Best Buy, Zettes Auto Mall, Cannademix, Green Thumb Industries, and more on-site ready to hire.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual assets that communicate our brand's message and identity across a variety of mediums. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of design work, be up-to-date on industry trends and design software, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce visual assets for various marketing campaigns, including but not limited to social media graphics, email campaigns, web graphics, packaging, and print collateral.
• Collaborate with internal teams (such as marketing, product, and sales) to develop design concepts that align with the brand's message and identity.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Maintain and update the brand's visual identity guidelines and assets.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and design software, and provide insights and recommendations to improve design processes and quality.
• Provide design support for special events, such as trade shows and product launches.
• Proofread and review final designs for accuracy and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience, preferably in a brand or agency setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates a deep understanding of typography, color, layout, and composition.
• Experience designing for various mediums, including print and digital.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and review final designs for accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
