OVERVIEW:
General Laborers will be able to perform a wide variety of tasks that require stamina and an eagerness to learn on the job. A good General Laborer is able to understand instructions and carry them out efficiently within the given deadline. Accuracy and safety are important to Rising Sun. It is important that the General Laborers follow and promote all company protocols ensuring overall efficiency and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs manual labor including operating small hand tools and power tools
• Performs heavy labor such as carrying and lifting materials and other activities
• Hauls goods to and from job sites
• Maintains a clean work environment
• Stages materials and tools
• Assists with general safety, site preparation and continuous job-site clean-up
• Maintains a neat and professional appearance and communicates with co-workers in a positive manner
• Proactive in collaborating with management in creating and fine tuning company standards and procedures to be adapted in policies and the ERP
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Follow directions
• Construction, roofing, or carpentry experience is preferred
• Work well in a small team environment
• Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements without question
• Follow all company operations standards and processes
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving abstract, no DUI within 5 years
• Must pass drug screen and background check

WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, sit, climb, bend, kneel, balance, stoop, walk and reach. The employee will frequently be required to lift and /or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to foucs. Comfortable climbing ladders plus standing and working residential roof toops (single and 2- Story). Work outdoors in both hot and cold weather.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
