We are currently seeking a Functional Test Lead - Healthcare Payer - REMOTE to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

Functional Test Lead

Job Responsibilities Include:

The Test Lead is responsible for driving the full testing lifecycle for all the assigned projects for our Payer Client, driving the testing delivery with high quality and leading teams of 1-5 testers. Additional duties include the following:

• Performs testing activities for a variety of projects in a complex IT environment, including preparing test strategy, test execution, monitoring and reporting, and input into test planning
• Provide input into test scoping, planning, analysis, and estimation activities for projects
• Work unsupervised, take responsibility for own tasks and prioritization of work, show initiative and self- motivation
• Analyze the BRDs, SRSs etc. and produce Test Strategies, Estimations and Test Scenarios/Cases
• Coordinate with the Development teams, BA teams, Business, Clients and onshore counterparts
• Timely detailed status reporting, metrics and dashboard publishing
• Participate in and contribute to the design/Requirements review meetings
• Identify areas for automation, performance testing, security testing and lead the efforts in implementing the solutions for them

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years Quality Assurance experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Healthcare Claims and Enrollments flows along with EDI transactions.
• Experience with requirements analysis, test design & development, and defect management
• Experience performing Functional Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration testing for web-based applications
• Experience testing interfaces for SQL Databases
• Experience with Agile Process & Scrum Methodology
• Experience with defect management and bug triaging using tools like HP ALM 11.0, JIRA, etc.

Preferred Skills:

Experience testing interfaces for SQL Server databases

Location & Travel:

Position can be remote for candidates in the EST and/or CST US time zones only. Travel to Providence, RI may be required per project demand

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this remote role is $72,200 to $119,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
