Job description
Support Roy Senior Center’s meal programs:
Monday ~ Friday, 10 am ~ 1 pm (3 hours/day)
Total 15 hours/week.
Set up dining room and kitchen for serving lunch.
Receive food when delivered and record temperatures.
Serve meal to the seniors.
Clean and sanitize the dining room, kitchen and equipment after lunch.
Operate dishwasher.
Attend training and meetings as required.
Support the director and volunteers of Roy Senior Center to operate nutrition program in the center.
Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Experience and Skills:
High school graduate; ability to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal skills; will be required to earn Food Handler Permit from local health department; ability to work independently in a timely and efficient manner; ability to lift 40 pounds; experience working with the senior citizen population from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
